Subsidiary Section 172(1) Statements.
As set out in Section 172 of the Companies Act 2006, it is a Director’s duty to promote the success of the company and to have due regard for the likely consequences of long-term decisions and stakeholder interests. For qualifying companies, a statement must now be including in the strategic report of their annual report and accounts describing how its Directors have had due regard for these matters.
